Salty Garden follows the natural flow of the seasons.
Some months are dedicated to travel and exploration, others to building the foundations of our eco-community, and the warm summer months are all about sharing surf, sunshine, and simple living with our guests.
This calendar gives you a transparent view of everything that happens throughout the year, from surf trips abroad, to community-building weeks to the official opening of the surf camp.
It’s also the best way to know when you can join us, whether you’re coming to enjoy a holiday, volunteer in our solidarity weeks, or support the development of Salty Garden in its early years.

13 → 20 January — Morocco Surf Trip
An open adventure week, everyone welcome
While Salty Garden rests for winter, we take the community on the road for a surf trip in Morocco.
This trip is open to anyone who wants to travel with us, connect, and surf in beautiful winter conditions.
February 2026
Early Bird Bookings Open · Summer 2026
Starting February 3rd, our Early Bird promotion opens for Summer 2026 bookings.
The offer applies to all stays between June 1st and October 1st.
March 2026
March 15th — Launch of Our Crowdfunding Campaign
This is the day we open the doors for anyone who wants to help us build the first eco-infrastructures of Salty Garden.

Start of the Spring Solidarity Building Weeks
Learn, build, share and help shape the foundations of Salty Garden.
These weeks are dedicated to building our very first community infrastructures:
- Planting fruit trees & native plants
- Setting up our natural water treatment system
- Working in the soil: garden beds, composting, permaculture basics
- Creating natural soaps & low-tech essentials
- Helping build the first shared spaces (like the reclaimed-container kitchen)
Typical Day
- Breakfast together
- 3 hours of collective work on the project
- Lunch together
- Afternoon free: surf, rest, explore, workshops
- Evening dinner, bonfire or activities
Price: €50 per person, per day
Includes:
- Accommodation in a bell tent
- All meals
- Access to surf equipment
- Activities & workshops
These weeks are open to anyone who wants to learn, contribute, and live with the community for a week or more.

June 1st — Official Opening of Salty Garden Surf Camp
Summer season begins.

October 1st — Surf Camp Closes for the Season

New project in the making
Rachel & Loïc begin the construction of the main house for the winter months.
Volunteers, and long-term stays are still possible during the off-season, depending on availability and ongoing projects.
